This dataset contains unprocessed measurement data (raw data) with a 10-minute resolution for the last 3 months up to today, and is updated in real time.
The GeoSphere Austria weather stations constitute the only nationwide meteorological observation network in Austria. These approximately 271 semi-automated weather stations (TAWES) record basic meteorological parameters and cover all climate regions and elevation levels in Austria. They transmit this data in real time to the Hohe Warte in Vienna. These stations form the backbone of weather forecasting, climate products, climate research and dispersion calculations at GeoSphere Austria.
