The C-LAEF (Convection-permitting Limited-Area Ensemble Forecasting) ensemble system provides meteorological forecasts for the extended Alpine region on a 2.5-kilometer grid. It is recalculated twice daily and provides forecasts for 60 hours. The existing dataset contains the 10th, 50th and 90th percentiles from the 17 underlying model runs (16 ensembles and one control run). Based on this data, the uncertainty of the forecasts can be estimated.
