Additional models of the EURO-CORDEX ensemble have been bias corrected to expand the existing ÖKS15 models using the same methods (Bias corrected scaled distribution mapping) and data of the EURO-CORDEX model.
The data have been corrected by means of the scaled distribution mapping (SDM, Switanek et al., 2017, doi.org/10.5194/hess-21-2649-2017) and a direct approach (e.g. Maraun et al., 2010, doi.org/10.1029/2009RG000314).
The data covers the historical period and future projections under the RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5 scenarios for the variables: - Daily Maximum and Daily Minimum and Daily Mean Near-Surface Air Temperature bias corrected (SDM) with observational data from Spartacus (ZAMG) with the feference period 1961-2005, - Global Radiationn bias corrected (SDM) with observational data from Global radiation dataset (ZAMG).Reference period: 1981-2005), - Daily Precipitation Amount bias corrected (SDM) with observational data from GPARD (ZAMG), - Potential Evapotranspiration (derived for all ÖKS15 models on a monthly timescale using an energy-only method (Milly and Dunne, 2016, Nat. Clim. Change)) bias corrected (direct) with observational data from the ARET dataset (Haslinger and Bartsch, 2016, doi.org/10.5194/hess-20-1211-2016) in the reference period 1961-2005.

The data contained in this dataset was first published through the Climate Change Centre Austria Data Centre (CCCA-DC). Due to the decommissioning of the CCCA-DC, the data was transferred to the GeoSphere Austria Datahub in 2024. During the transfer, the granularity and structure of the metadata were adjusted in accordance with the dataset's authors to meet the requirements of the GeoSphere Austria Datahub. The data itself remained unchanged. For further inquiries, please contact datenzentrum@ccca.ac.at. |
